SJOKOLADE HAWERMOUT KOEKIES (SUIKERVRY)

Baktyd: 10-13 minute
Oondtemperatuur: 190 °C
135 g (250 ml) koekmeel
210 g (500 ml) hawermout
2,5 ml steviapoeier
5 ml koeksoda
15 g (50 ml) kakaopoeier
5 ml fyn kaneel
125 ml sonneblomolie
10 ml vanieljegeursel
METODE:
Meng die droë bestanddele en ’n knippie sout saam in ’n groot mengbak. Meng 250 ml warm water, die olie en vanielje in ’n beker en gooi dit oor die droeë bestanddele. Meng liggies.
Rol die deeg in bolletjies en pak dit op ’n gesmeerde bakplaat. Druk dit plat met die palm van jou hand en bak dit vir 10-13 minute in 
die verhitte oond, tot gaar.

Creamy Spinach

This rich and creamy dish tastes just like traditional versions, but with a fraction of the calories and fat. It’s so delicious that my son Cole requests it as part of a “last supper” meal before he leaves for sleepaway camp in the summer.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 medium shallot, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 ten-ounce boxes frozen chopped spinach
  • 3 ounces low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
PREPARATION:

Coat a large sauté pan with oil spray. Sauté shallot over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute. Then add the spinach, a few handfuls at a time, and sauté until wilted, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add low-fat cream cheese and stir until melted through. Season the spinach with salt, and cook 3-4 minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated.

Serving Size: ¾ cup

Cherry-Vanilla Yogurt Pops

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup fat-free or 1% milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION:

In a microwave-safe container, combine the sugar and 2 tablespoons water and microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until sugar is just dissolved.

Add the sugar syrup to a blender along with the cherries, nonfat Greek yogurt, skim or 1% milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and pour into pop molds. Freeze solid.

Serving Size: 1 pop

2.5kg appelkose – ontpit

500 gr ontpitte rosyne

6 knoffelhuisies (ek gebruik so 2 hoogvol tl vars knoffel in die bakkies)

750gr uie

800 ml suiker

20ml sout

20ml gemmer

10ml kaneel

7ml swartpeper

2ml rooipeper

1.5 liter asyn

OPSIONEEL – ek gooi 1 tl Crusted chillies van Robertson by (vir die byt ekstra – dit maak die chutney HOT)

Maal die roysne, appelkose knoffel en uie

Ek doen dit nie, ek gooi dit sommer in my twista en tjop fyn, of sny net kleiner anders sny alles klein blokkies

Voeg alles bymekaar en kook tot dik

So 3/4 deur die kookproses neem ek my handklitser en klits net alles tot mooi glad en fyn (sommer net kortpad omdat ek nie my goed maal nie)
